Disney Channel actress Demi Lovato recently made an appearance after being sequestered away in a rehab facility for months.
The star was seen dining out at the Cheesecake factory in Los Angeles, California with a male friend on Sunday, January 30. Meanwhile, the statement that was released by backup dancer Alex Welch after the incident she suffered with Lovato was re-broadcast by Radar Online.
After Welch had been invited on “The Turbo and Joey Show”, she discussed the incident between her and Lovato, saying, “I got punched in the face.” According to the dancer, she and the actress had been best friends before the altercation occurred.
Welch went on to say, “She just got really mad,” without giving any other details about the now-infamous night between the two girls.
Although Welch had originally threatened to sue Lovato if she did not offer an apology, it now appears that the two camps have reached a resolution, and Welch reports that she is “satisfied” with the agreement that was reached.
After she emerged from treatment, sources close to Lovato said, “She is so grateful to all of her fans for their unbelievable support, and looks forward to being able to talk to all of them very soon.”
