Kristen Stewart has made it a point throughout her career to not limit herself to one type of movie. Despite her recent “Twilight” success, she has made strides in appearing in a number of other films. Today the trailer for her upcoming film that also stars James Galdolfini; “Welcome to the Riley’s” was released online.
She does not get all that much screen time in the trailer, but does play a large role in the movie. The movie mostly focused on James Gandolfini and his wife. Gandolfini, who is most known for playing Tony Soprano in “The Sopranos,” has received critical acclaim for his most recent role. “Welcome to the Riley’s” is worth checking out, but will not be one that the “Twilight” fan community will necessarily latch onto. Kristen Stewart plays a character that is more similar to the one that she played in “Adventureland” than her character in “Twilight.”
The movie will not be released until November, but some are already saying that it is a favorite to win an Oscar this year. The speculation might be a little bit out of range as of now, but the trailer does look solid and it did receive some critical acclaim at a recent film festival. It is an independent movie with a very big heart, hopefully the movie lives up to its expectations. If the trailer is of any hint, it looks like it will be a great film.

Looks like something I would watch on Lifetime.
Don’t waste your money or time on this movie. I saw it at Sundance and Kristen ruins the movie. Leo and Gandolfini were good. The funny thing is that I can see Kristen living this life. I can see her giving sexual favors for drugs. That’s why I can’t understand why she’s so bad in this movie. Of course I saw The Yellow Hankerchief too. Kristen ruined that movie as well. This is not a happy feel good movie.
