Beauty Vanessa Hudgens will be graces the cover of Glamour Magazine for August 2010.It is said that the “High School Musical” star was offered the cover shot several months ago, and recently accepted it.
Her image has changed quite a bit since she was playing roles on the Disney Channel. Her old style can be described as preppy, while her new style looks more like a hippy from the 1970’s. She was recently seen out wearing a low cut blouse, along with a long, hanging patterned skirt. While the new style is noticeably different, it does still look good.
“When I am around kids and they come up to me, of course I am going to act a certain way, but at the end of the day, I’m doing this for myself. I’m going to be doing movies kids can’t watch,” Hudgens said. She recently signed up to play a stripper in a new role. It will take Hudgens’ career a completely different direction.
The new movie will reportedly test her acting skills, as in the last scene something tragic happens, and Hudgens was forced to cry for 14 hours straight in order to come up with the perfect shot. She said that shooting the scene was tiring, and one can see how it might take a lot out of an actor to shoot a scene like that.
The young star has come a long ways since we first saw her on “High School Musical,” and seems to have made a more seamless transition into adulthood than other Disney-alumni like Miley Cyrus.
