Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Box Office Win : $125 Million

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Box Office Win : $125 Million – The seventh and last movie of the Harry Potter franchise received a very warm opening night reception by fans who showed up in millions to movie theaters across the country.

On its first day, the figure for profits was put at $125 million. In the past two days it has achieved an amazing $24 million at the box office, a feat that is not an easy one for most movies to pull off. Most fans speculate that the unusually large turnout was because it is the last and final movie in the series and fans wanted to show up to see it. By the end of the week it had busted through box office records with $61 million at the end of Friday alone.

These numbers definitely set a new record for the entire Harry Potter series, drawing out millions of fans to sold out theaters that did not have any tickets for last-minute walk-ins. Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire went up to $102.7 million, which is fairly weak considering what the most recent Harry Potter film got in terms of overall profits at the box office.

Although fans are sad to see the franchise come to an end, most of them seemed happy with the overall structure of the before last movie.
