Taylor Swift wearing a pretty dress and red lipstick performed her brand new song called “Innocent” which is all about Kanye West hijacking her big moment at last year’s event.
In the new song Taylor sings a bout a man who is 32 years old (West was 32 when he acted like a fool) man who made errors by she decided to forgive him.

Taylor needs to stop milking this minor incident. It gave her a great career boost. Last night’s performance was ridiculously overwrought.
How is she milking it? it’s the first thing she done/said about it since last year!
The supposed ‘boost’ your talking about did nothing but put her down, she won the award and won others on her own before all of his crap.
And her performance, yeah it wasn’t one of her best but she still rocked it.
Just put yourself in her shoes.. and then say it’s minor.

OMG she was amazing. I don’t even particularly like Talylor Swift and at 19 she wrote this song with amazing lyrics and sang it with such grace…I have kids older than her that can’t even keep their room presentable.

She’s not milking anything. Taylor writes songs about what has happened in her life and how she feels. This song was just her expressing her feelings.
Grace you have lost it. She forgave someone that did something very wrong. A product of raising to think it is alright to walk onto a stage during a live show, take the microphone from someone who has just won an award and boast your own thoughts. Who in the world has the audacity and narrowmindedness to do such a thing. Kanye is a great lyricists, but, he should learn a thing or two about manners. Taylor had a great song, read the lyrics, she may have not been on her A game with the vocal aspect but her point was heard loud and clear. It takes a bigger person to do what she did, than some low-life that things the world revolves around himself.

I disagree… I think it was her way of trying to “put it to bed,” so people will stop talking about it. It was great, and I think she is truly a class act. She could have written an angry song about it, as someone like I would have, but she chose to write a song of forgiveness.
i think she did the right thing. forgiveness is everything and kanye still does have alot of growing up to do.
Who is saying Taylor sounded terrible? I am not even a fan and thought she balled out, actually I like her whenever I hear her stuff, its good. Sure she’s let it go, but making a song about it is just good business sense, everyone spoke about it for like 2 months straight. Why not give your fans and Kayne your perspective in song..Now its squashed, done, finished. Good for them.
On a side note I just saw Kayne perform at Yankees Stadium w/ HOV, he tore the set down. Biggest cheers of a night full of them.
I agree….it’s was almost too embarrassing to watch…the whole thing was pathetic and over thought… the melody was nice and the lyrics were good but the motive behind it was just pitiful…..how much more sympathy do expect to get Taylor?? oh and kanye’s performance was hilarious!!!
I think this has gone on way too long. Ok so how many times does kanya have to apologize publicly for this to finally be over. Ok so he messed up and now taylor wants to make money by writing a song about it? get over it Taylor. I have lost all respect for you now. I thought you handled yourself very well when he did is ordeal a year ago. Let it go Girl. If you write this song to help kanya get back his fans then you did a great job. I am now a Kanya fan…No longer a taylor fan!

I have never really liked Kanye but after that performance I kind of felt bad for him. He seems to have come out of that incident a better person and seemed to have moved on, and then she just attacked him again, and threw it in his face and called him a child basically. I dunno, I thought it was a low blow.
I really liked the song…… And I thought she sounded GREAT I really do think They should already make up, it was wrong what he did but hey look at the bright side She made a new song that MIGHT be a hit
