High School Musical star Zac Efron has joked with reporters that winning ‘Best Beach Body’ is not the worst thing in the world. In an earlier issue of People magazine’s Beach Bodies issue, Zac Efron managed to land the coveted front page photo for a picture of him while he was on holiday in Hawaii with a family member. The star said in an interview when asked about being objectified that he would not go out of his way to avoid doing something just because paparazzi were going to be following him around.
He later went on to state that he usually realizes when people are trying to take a picture of him when he is out in public. He added that you have to realize that wherever you go that is not private property there is going to be someone there who is trying to take a picture of you.
He said that at least he got the front cover of the magazine for having the best body and not for doing something wrong. He ended the interview by saying that he had an amazing time on his trip to Hawaii with his brother.
The squeaky clean image of Zac Efron is fortunately still being maintained, and the star was certainly right when he said that being named as having the best beach body was certainly not the worst thing in the world. If only more stars would take a leaf out of his book!
