Rumors have abounded recently as to whether Justin Bieber is dating his female BFF, tour-mate and Disney star Selena Gomez.
They have been spotted together several times looking like more than just friends, but as of yet they haven’t admitted to being an item.
In a recent interview with MTV he was asked about those romance rumors. Again, he didn’t confirm the suspicions but that didn’t stop him from singing the 18 year old beauty’s praises.
“She’s really cool,” Bieber said. “She’s an amazing person.”
He also commented on the media frenzy that seems to surround him at the moment.
“I think that people are always gonna be interested in my personal life … but I gotta keep some things to myself,” he said of the rumors surrounding the young friends. “I’m just having fun being a teenager.”
They have also been quoted to have described their relationship as a brotherly/sisterly one, with Selena saying “It was pancakes. Who doesn’t like pancakes?” of their recent trip to get pancakes together, arm in arm.
Will 2011 be the year that the ‘Baby’ hit-maker and the Disney princess make it official? Watch this space!
