Lawyers for Disney star Demi Lovato have recently tried to seek a resolution with backup dancer Alex Welch, who recently said that she would “pursue litigation” against Lovato for alleged assault.
The incident occurred in October, when the two were traveling together while on the Jonas Brothers Tour. Lovato is reported to have punched Welch in the face after accusing her of spilling the beans about a party that she had attended. Lovato checked herself into rehab soon after the incident occurred.
Welch recently talked about the incident earlier this week, and said that she will attempt to bring Lovato to court if she does not apologize for the attack. At first, Lovato’s camp said that the actress was sequestered in rehab and was unable to talk to anyone, let alone Welch.
However, lawyers from both sides are now meeting to discuss a financial settlement that will be offered to Welch.
According to Don Karpel, Welch’s lawyer, at the moment he is “in discussion with the other side.” Lovato’s representatives have also said, “Demi’s attorneys have had an initial discussion with Mr. Karpel.
They are exploring the possibility of an amicable resolution of this matter.”

Demi needs to make whatever need to settle this and then distant herself from any of the disney people and the jonas B for sure.
I is way better than any of them and needs to keep her singing and acting career the way she wants to do it. Doing some free lance movies as selena did would increase her acting career and making some new albums would go along way with her singing career.
