Taylor Momsen and Miley Cyrus have a lot in common with one another. They both were child stars that have blossomed in their teens into beautiful young women who are passionate about music and acting. Just don’t compare them. Momsen recently suffered a mini-meltdown when she was compared to Cyrus during an interview.
“I’m not looking to be Miley f*cking Cyrus,” Momsen, 16, said. “I don’t care about the fame. I do it because I love music. I like making records and if people like them, then we’ll go along for the ride.”
Momsen, Like Cyrus, has dressed very provocatively in the past and has received some of the same criticism that Cyrus has, leading some to compare the two of them. Outwardly, the young ladies appear to be very different. Momsen wears black clothes with dark eyeliner around her entire eye all the time. Momsen’s look is very “rockish,” while Miley Cyrus dresses more stylishly.
“I’m not dissing Miley personally. However, I do think the Disney bubblegum s*** that the world is living right now is pathetic. I thought we passed that repression,” Momsen said, explaining her comment further.
Like Cyrus, Momsen turned to music after having a successful acting career as a young child. Cyrus now says that she is fed up with the music industry and is looking to make a return to acting full time.
Both of them have received criticism for the outfits they wear and “growing up too early.” So while Momsen does not like to be compared to Miley Cyrus, one can certainly see how comparisons can be made.

Miley also does it because she enjoys creating music and an album for her fans, i have enjoyed a lot of Mileys previous and new songs, i think that miley is very talented.
I do not believe that miley is fame hungry. Miley is driven by her career and her aspirations to work in film are a lot stronger than wanting to be in a magazine or newspaper.
