Despite recent reports that Bieber may have been dating a lady friend from his home town, he confirmed today that he is indeed single and is looking to meet a woman. Caitlin Beadles, a former fling of Bieber’s, had accompanied him to the Bahamas earlier this month. The trip had led many to believe that the two of them were back together. Now, via Twitter, Bieber confirms that he is single and that he is not currently dating Caitlin Beadles.
“I’m single and ready to mingle!! Haha,” Bieber said on his Twitter account earlier in the day.
He likely made the comment to shoot down rumors involving him and Beadles that had surfaced earlier in the week. The report was first released by Life & Style, who said that he had been in the Bahamas with a former girlfriend of his.
Beadles sent a number of Twitter messages to Bieber regarding their time together. When he said that he was returning home, she replied by saying that she was “sad to see him go.” The Tweets certainly made it look as if the two of them were dating, but Beadles could have purposely made the Tweets look that way if she wanted to.
“It’s like half of me is gone, I miss you already,” she said in a Tweet directed toward Bieber.
Bieber almost immediately embarked on his My World 2.0 summer tour after leaving the Bahamas. He will be accompanied by Sean Kingston as a special guest.
